LIFE HAS BEEN GOOD!
Had a good career in tele-communications. Had some very interesting
jobs. Worked on the ICBM and Space programs. When we installed the
global AUTOVON (communications system for the U.S. Govt.) I worked on
the engineering of the Pacific sites in Chicago than lived in Madrid,
Spain for 4 years. We had Autovon sites in Spain, England, Germany,
Italy and Greece. Did extensive travel to all sites. In 1972 we
decided to settle down and raise the family. There was an Autovon site
in Delta, Utah. I took a job maintaining that site. We bought a cattle
ranch and played rancher for about 20 years. I retired from GTE in May
1992 and by Fall I was ready to go back to work. We came to St. George,
Utah and bought a video store. I served as President of the St. George
Rotary Club in 99-00.
I have 4 adult children and my wife Patricia has 3 adult children, we
have 18 grand children and 1 great-great grandchild. We really enjoy
them. When we aren't working we are traveling. We really enjoy world
and domestic travel. We have been as far as Indonesia to the West and
Egypt to the East. Last Christmas we spent over a month in Italy,
Austria, Germany and Slovenia. My hobbies are travel, fishing, hunting,
scuba diving, rv'ing and a little golf. Looking forward to a Rebel
reunion.
