Ernie Marquez and Ninfa Oviedo. Married in 1959.
Ninfa worked at the bank after high school then
took some time off to raise our kids and later worked
as a librarian for the Sheriff's Department and INS.
She retired in June of 1999.
I spent 13 yrs in the Air Force flying around the
world and another 9 in the Reserves. I also was an Air
Traffic Controller for 11 yrs , from there I went to
work for the Air Force as a civilian. My last working
years were spent as a Range Control Officer, testing
the B-2 bomber when it first came out........Than
retired in 1997.
Through my flying we found Mazatlan in 1974 and
after many trips down here (am in Mazatlan now) We
build a house (4 years ago) and now spent about 5
months a year down here. Mostly in the winter......
We have 3 boys and one girl. All doing great......
10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild....
