        photo I enrolled in Los Angeles City College after high school. After a year at college, I went to work for the Fluor Corporation. They had a training program in Industrial Plant Design. I spent 44 years in this trade and it has taken me to Saigon, Bangkok, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Milan, Pisa and good old Reno, Nevada. My family joined me in most of those assignments and for many years we enjoyed an international lifestyle. Terry and I married in 1962. We have raised two attractive college-educated women. My eldest, Elena, (George Hiratašs godchild) graduated from UCSD with a Physics major. My baby, Julia, also graduated from USCD with a Communications degree. Terry went back to complete her education and graduated from UC Berkeley as a language major. Terry and I are semi-retired now. We manage to keep busy though with our six grandchildren (six boys and two girls). Our primary residence is in northern California, but we plan to live six months there and six months at our Laughlin, Nevada residence. If any of you are ever in either place (and wešre there), wešd love to have you visit.
