Mary Parra (Wirick) Lincoln High School Summer Class of 1955
Since Graduating from Lincoln High, there have been many twists and turns in my life and familie's, as i am sure it has been for all of us in the past 50 years.
I started working the following Monday after graduation for the Bank of America and completed 37 1/2 years there holding several positions. I went from being a typing clerk to assistant to the
head of the National division. I studied at L. A. City college for 2 years in the evening and played tennis 1 evening a week with my best friend, Lucy Morales.
Two years after graduating, I met Stan my husband. Stan was in the marines and had approximately 10 months left to serve. We were married a month before he left the service. Stan is from Wayne Michigan and
1 year older than me. We will celebrate our 47th Anniversary on August 30th.
We have 3 children. DeArlin, Michelle, and Brian. We also have 8 lovely grandchildren. ( 7 girls and 1 boy) The eldest grandchild is 20 and the youngest is 3, both girls.
We lived most of our lives in California, but 10 years ago decided to move to Prescott, Arizona. Stan and i are active in our church and are volunteers in the community. After moving to Prescott Stan became a realtor.
I was bored to tears and started looking for a part time job. I found one as office manager for the Yavapai symphony Association.
